Eastern Escarpment Conservation Area

Eastern Escarpment Conservation Area was until recently a rough hidden gem known only to locals.  A much appreciated investment by Redland City Council has transformed this 186 hectare reserve into a unique destination.  All skill levels and abilities are catered for with the inclusion of 4 Adaptive (aMTB) Trails.  If technical gravity trails are your thing this is the place.  Blacking Out and Westy’s are rated as Black Diamond trails and will challenge even the most experienced riders.

GETTING THERE
A number of parking areas can be found along West Mount Cotton Road.  If you are keen to get straight into the downhill trails, then park near the roundabout “Gate 6”.  Toilets and water are located at “Gate 2” and this is the ideal starting point for an XC loop.
